Damnation
Damnation_2017 Dangerous Lullabies III, National exhibition in the historic Dole Mansion, Oct 6 - 26
The image titled "Damnation" is two images that I had taken, one of a cherub statue and the other of a colorful background time exposure. I accentuated the cracks in the statue and erased the eyes so they would reveal the background color that conveys a feeling of fire. The description of the exhibition read "If you have work that is designed to examine the beauty found in the ashes of terror or the magnetic pull of work that is disturbing, on-edge or dark, this is the show for you. The building, Crystal Lake's historic Dole Mansion, is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of famed circus owner, Al Ringling's wife, Eliza".
