Black Sheep
Black Sheep_2017 Dangerous Lullabies III, National exhibition in the historic Dole Mansion, Oct 6 - 26
The image titled "Black Sheep" was developed for an exhibition Dangerous Lullabies III held in the Dole mansion an hour outside of Chicago leading up to Halloween. The image of two women is from my collection of historic photographs where I digitally manipulated one women adding a Day-of-the-Dead mask embracing the dark theme. The description of the exhibition read "If you have work that is designed to examine the beauty found in the ashes of terror or the magnetic pull of work that is disturbing, on-edge or dark, this is the show for you. The building itself is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of famed circus owner, Al Ringling's wife, Eliza".
